Philips Pirater is a rock band from Sandefjord, Norway, and has been around for 20 years. This energetic powertrio is made up by Philip Andersen (guitar/vocals), Andrè Nilsen (drums) and Are Gogstad (bass). Along with original material they play cover songs from the 60s and 70s, from artists such as Jimi Hendrix, ZZ Top, Cream, Free, Led Zeppelin etc.
Bandmembers have played alongside artists like Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake), Paul di’Anno (Iron Maiden), Geoff Nicholls (Black Sabbath), Mike Keneally (Frank Zappa), Rowan Robertson (Dio), to name a few.
